My First Post!

I figured that a blog would be the easiest way to keep up with all of you guys at home and elsewhere around the world while I am away, so I am trying to figure out this whole blog thing. Thanks to Rachel for pointing me in the right direction on this. Here goes my first attempt at a post... [bated breath]...[drum roll]...it works!!
