I hiked from Cape Farewell along the Hilltop Walk, which follows the north coast of the South Island near the Innlet, where I was WWOOFing, i.e. cleaning for room and board. Here is some more of the beautiful scenery along the way. This is one of my favorite hikes I've done in New Zealand. I love being up on the hilltop ridge with the ocean off to one side and green valleys followed by mountains on the other. I went back a couple times to do different sections of this trail.
